Scheppach TS4010 Power Inlet

Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

Hi Bob

Didn't use the foil trick as one layer melted, mind you it was £land stuff. Used a sawn down 6" nail

We still have an old fuse box in the house and use the old fuse wire. You can still get it.
maybe better than nails and fag paper
As Bob said , if the house wiring is up to scratch , the main fuse box should have it covered.

I have rewirable fuses in my workshop. So much more tolerant of short term overloads and yet adequate protection. Ideal as I'm often tinkering with suspect motors and getting them going for people.

SUCCESS!!

Foil method worked a treat. Motor runs up, sounds good!

Thanks Bob. I'll get it all wired up correctly

No Worries Tom
Glad it is firing on all cylinders.
I hate those Shucko connectors. You are well rid of them.
I have one on a Scheppach machine that I must get round to changing.
