I watched a very good YouTube video on the Boeing 737 Max 8 but it looks to have been removed. One of the points made is that Boeing felt they didn’t have a product to compete with Airbus. It was suggested though that the discontinued 757 would have been more than suitable.

Airbus, what to say. I’ve seen several programmes on TV about Airbus crashes. It’s very worrying when a French court will happily except data from a black box when 20 seconds of critical data has “disappeared”. I can’t say it was erased by Airbus in order to blame the pilot for the crash but that was pretty much implied on the programme.

Of course it’s not just civil aircraft either.

Rog, just do a one paragraph summary as to who F-Up'ed and will compensate all the airlines their millions in lost revenue. And the lost lives and families.
