I like a Christmas offer

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

I like a Christmas offer

It is nice at this time of year to get offers from suppliers but this one made me a little uncomfortable.

I had one a while back that I bought in Lapland. I had no issue with it morally, after talking to the locals and understanding that the creatures are revered as being the literal lifeblood of the people and almost every square inch of the beast is used.

I loved it, soooooo warm and cosy to lie on or under, but not sure whether it was cheap or just what happens but the bloody thing started moulting everywhere and it took me a while longer than SWMBO, but soon we were both sick to the back teeth of hoovering the hairs up EVERY DAY that it had to go!

Trim as a leather worker I don't have an issue with using any material I prefer to use leather from animals in the food chain.
It just seemed a little ironic getting an offer for reindeer skin just before Christmas.

All animals are in some food chain or other. Reindeer are very much in the food chain of their traditional owners/ herders. They live off very little else.

Ah I’m with you. Very specific targeted marketing that’s all. :)
