• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Someone’s finally managed to bump him off I see.

Not that I have an ounce of sympathy for him, but people have been trying for years so I imagine his prison life was a daily battle to keep away from people and stay alive.

I wonder if the parents of those poor girls get any solace now he’s been dealt the same end.

Not intended to become a political conversation in any way, just popped up on my news feed and it’s quite big news for the UK if not the world right now.

No mater how many of these types of people pass on there are always more in the wings waiting because we just seem to breed defective goods, the question to be answered is why, where does someone go off the rails and it does make you wonder about reincarnation, perhaps they just keep coming back in different guises. History is littered with these odd balls and despots, Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, Netanyahu and Ghengis khan are prime examples so Huntley may just be something that will keep returning in different guises and the worrying thought is that no one knows what there offspring will turn out to become.

I cannot imagine how the parents will be feeling. It’s possible it will bring it all back (not that it will have ever left them) and perhaps they’d have preferred him to spend his life in prison never able to relax rather than the relatively quick end to his sentence.

I just heard someone from Soham say on the radio that Huntley is not worth our thoughts or breath and it’s the families of the victims who should be remembered which felt fitting.

The people of Soham, have, to a man/woman shunned commenting in any way on this.

Their feelings, and emphatically, categorically, to the nth degree, those of the parents and immediate families of those two little girls should NOT have their agony prolonged and endlessly reinflamed by discussion and reheating this case. The man is dead; it dies with him, leave them in peace.

Mr. Chairman, through the Chair, may I please propose, for their sake, we let this thread wither and die? All ye in favour, add a thumbs up.

The question now is would it be a good or bad thing if that mad monster Rudykanu who killed those three girls in Stockport got the same ?

I think it would be much better to put him into a real prison like the Bangkok hilton.
