• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Covid Spring booster jab

My wife (who suffers from longterm polymyalgia) is in the "at risk" category and has always been contacted in the past. She hasn't had any sort of invitation yet!

Me, Sir! But I can't make it on the Saturday they're doing it. So they put me on a list for an additional one.

Are we not supposed to have herd immunity by now so our own bodies are ready and waiting, there is a new strain on the way but that effects younger people a lot more so we should be ok.

We got Text invites about 2 weeks ago, both booked at local surgery within 15mins. of text for Sat later this month.

I received a text yesterday (Good Friday!) evening... from the medical practice. Gave a link for booking and a phone number for the medical practice if I was unable to book via the link. As I wasn't eligible for it last autumn I'm having to assume that reaching 75 in March now makes me eligible for this one!
