• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. Stone carving - brilliant set of project videos

I don't have any interest in stone carving, but I watched his entire series last week and enjoyed each episode. I hope he makes a video showing the arch being installed and blended with the sections made by other stone masons.
 
Same - I know nothing about masonry, I never knew I was that interested in it, but it's always fascinating to watch a craftsman.

I spent half an hour donkeys years ago watching a carver making a replacement corbel for York Minster, he was a good 80% through and accidently chipped off the wrong bit. It went in the scrap pile which was sizeable and he had to start again. To say he wasn't amused is an understatement.

Yeah stuff like that can be annoying to some and if the content is not compelling enough it’s a reason to move on. Apparently that’s changing though. She’s said she’s switching to landscape on YouTube and 5 of the 6 non-Shorts videos came in the last 3 weeks.

I use YT by subscribing and then clicking to Videos (not Shorts) to decide what to watch mostly on the TV. I do watch shorts from people I’ve subscribed to on my phone. Different formats for different occasions.
