Had mine since I started my workshop.

Bought a load of paper bags off the 'net and have been using it ever since. Brilliant little tool.

In fact I've taken the wheels off and built in to my movable bench and use it for all the small machines in the shop.

Before investing in a new vacuum I would suggest trying to find out how noisy your intended purchase is. I ended up getting a Nilfisk from Screwfix when it was on special offer. It obviously still makes a noise but doesn’t sound like a 747 taking off like my old one did! Noise is not so much of an issue if you’re just doing the odd hoovering but if it’s on constantly while using another machine it soon gets wearing.

Furthermore very few vacuums will rated for anything like continuous use. If your application is for more than a few minutes at a time and with only short off periods, check the spec carefully for any duty cycle restrictions.
