I'm not too clued up on power tools, hence this question.
I'm thinking of getting a Festool drill (I have one of their sanders and associated vacuum cleaner and am pleased with it when I need it, although it doesn't get too much use).
I would like a drill that can do relatively slow revs for when it is necessary and high revs for normal drilling. I understand that Festool makes variable speed drills. I don't think that I would necessarily gain any advantage from a cordless drill (do they really make that much difference for the non-professional who would never be seen on a building site?) as batteries eventually go kaputt. Therefore two questions:
a. Does Festool still do drills with cables?
b. Which model would you recommend to meet the speed requirements?
