• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I don't know what happened in the place that's not to be mentioned as I wasn't on there for sometime. I reactivated my account and a lot of people had moved on.

It would appear that I have now found you. :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Welcome Gary. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

I think it's worth saying that it is perfectly allowable to mention UKW by name. What isn't encouraged here is active discussion of the goings on of other forums, and particularly UKW where a lot of WH2 members have been recently active. It's perfectly fine to say that we are the pleasant alternative to UKW and are benefiting from the recent turbulence, but it's probably not fine to actually start discussing the minutiae of their activity.

Hi and welcome over here, very glad to see you made it. What would you like milk or honey? :D :D

Welcome Gary

As Mike said, we are not at any kind of loggerheads in any shape or form with UKW, in fact most in here started on UKW and I went from none to less than no woodwork knowledge with help from UKW.

We simply don’t want any bringing over of any bad blood or discussion on why people have left.

Cheers
Mark
