Lubricating aluminium tables?

I’ve been fortunate in the past to have cast iron machines and keeping them slick was never an issue.

I now have an aloominum P/T and I find keeping the top even slightly slick is a continuous task and it looses it so quickly it’s almost dangerous given the amount of force I end up using to push timber through.

I don’t use any fancy ‘stuff’ just an old tin of briwax applied generously then buffed.

Is there another product that might make life a bit easier?

I use Libron lubricating wax, it's runny like double cream rather than a paste. I have both cast iron and aluminium tables on different machines and use it on both.

I use Wurth Woodslide spray.

I've an old tin of the hard type car wax and that has been used on my old kity aluminium tables as well as current cast Iron tables.

Superb stuff, I use it on all the table surfaces of my kit and on the big SCM panel saw in the main workshop

I use super glide (supergleit) from Felder it’s in a spray bottle so a quick spray & your back working
