I’ve been fortunate in the past to have cast iron machines and keeping them slick was never an issue.
I now have an aloominum P/T and I find keeping the top even slightly slick is a continuous task and it looses it so quickly it’s almost dangerous given the amount of force I end up using to push timber through.
I don’t use any fancy ‘stuff’ just an old tin of briwax applied generously then buffed.
Is there another product that might make life a bit easier?
