Old Oak
Unfortunately I didn't take any 'photos but I knocked up a trick box for my granddaughter on Friday, gave it to her yesterday morning and because I'm always making small items she suspected nothing. If you have ever heard how loud a 10 year old can scream you'll understand why my ears are still ringing. She caught out her mum later who doesn't much like spiders.
I've taken the pic of the internet where you can buy these for peanuts but dead easy and quick to make. It's best if you bend the wire and position the knob so the "spider" touches the fingers. I didn't have a plastic spider so knocked one up on the fly tying bench which was more realistic with floppy legs. Great fun for young kids I'm sure this box will end up at school when they go back.
