Is there a for sale section

Postby haigh218 » 19 Jun 2022, 19:50

Hi,
I've a few woodworking items to sell on behalf of my father, I would think of interest to the members here but I dont see a for sale section? (I agree I've not made many posts if that is the cause of it not being visible?)

Thanks,
Andrew

Welcome aboard Andrew. I think you need to make one more post and the for sale forum should become visible.

Andrew, I’ve deleted your duplicated post.

The For Sale board by the way is only visible to members when logged in.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

Thanks, was not sure if it had registered but yes I understand some moderation for unknown posts :)

All my items are now listed in the for sale section thank you :)

Close to forum abuse - just joined to sell stuff listed on eBay!
Don't like: wood, engines, electrickery, decorating, tiling, laying stone, plumbing, gardening or any kind of DIY. Not wild about spiders either.

I agree, I rushed in early to do it though:

the forum has been very useful, I built my workshop in 2020 based on the advice threads from here, but yes I've not posted very much.

The machines belong to my father, but he is downsizing and no longer has any need for them, and I have neither time, need nor skill to use such things really so better they go to someone who can make good use of them!

Thanks,
Andrew

And that was your 8th post since 2017. Enough said. 90% of your posts are about sales. Not even sales on here - but pushing people to a third party platform. Perhaps others here will feel differently. For me, it is not the done thing.

Adrian. This has been dealt with amicably between Andrew and Mods

Time to move on I think

Apologies. I complained earlier and I am pleased to see it has been dealt with anyway and most posts have disappeared. I am sure the mods needed no comment from me. Silence rendered.
