I have a 6” version that I’m going to try with the 1/2-1/2-1/2 drawer lock joint.
Groove width is adjusted by undoing two lock screws, and rotating the blade relative to its bosses. The problem is, the screws are concealed by the securing nut, or in my case the top hat adapters, so adjustment requires removal of the saw for each tweak.
Would it be feasible to leave the locking screws slightly loose, and rely on the clamping pressure of the arbour nut to keep the setting? Then I only have to loosen the arbour nut, tweak setting, and tighten.
