• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

6th Vintage Hand Tool 'Extravaganza',13th April 2024

We did. But by some weird time-space distortion, it was SIX MONTHS ago!

These old tools aren't getting any younger :D

Will there be carrot cake :eusa-think:

Of all the possible questions Doug I wasn't ready for that one :eusa-doh:
Summat you want to tell us about these cravings ? :eusa-think:

Damn, I don’t get back till the 16th, one of theses times I shall manage it.

Sorry to see this Ian, ah well there's always the October option 8-)
Those who know me in normal circumstances might say pop in because Andy will still be there packing up :eusa-whistle:

It was touch and go if I was actually going myself but although I'm planning to be there it is likely to be a greatly pared back display.
My strength and stamina is much depleted just now as a result of a harsh viral infection but thankfully my good friend Tim has offered to get me there and back.
Cheers, Andy

Just trying to keep you on your toes Andy  that said I’m not a big cake lover but am partial to a slice of the aforementioned cake :D

Sorry to hear that mate, hope you have a speedy recovery :eusa-pray:

Pete and Doug, many thanks for your best wishes, still aiming to get there  8-)
As I said I won't be bringing much but the million dollar question is what do I leave at home or more to the point what dare I not bring  :eusa-think: :eusa-doh:

Cheers, Andy

I'm aiming to be there. I'd put the odds at about 60:40...... If I do come, I'll have some decent planks of bog oak in the boot, available to any of the tool makers who want it.

Hope you make it, be good to see you again Mike.
I've started feeling a lot better but won't be going overboard with a display, just a few bits, thankfully I'm being chauffeured
Cheers, Andy

We'll maybe get the chance of a bit of a longer natter this time, Andy.
