For that money you would not bother to sharpen them, buy ten lots and keep bashing. Problem will be you end up with all the least used sizes and non of the most used at which point just get them sharpened.

Practice sharpening... use on softwood or medium-hard wood... sharpen... use... sharpen - then buy a more expensive set if they've not shown to be useful ... one way or another

Thanks for the heads up. Following your link, it says the set is £7.99. That's definitely worth a punt. A pint almost costs as much these days.
