Oh FFS. After a lifetime of designing IT systems that actually work and more importantly take into account the processes that a user would have to go through and above all embracing the concept of Change Management, I continue to be hacked off with the crap system being designed by todays' IT 'so-called' professionals.
Marble have redesigned their website. Leaving aside the fact that, yet again like others, it has been designed by a committee of two-year olds with massive fonts, huge amounts of white space and a desire to make me wear out my scroll button and patience while I wade through all this white space, they changed the criteria for passwords. So if your old, previously valid, password no longer meets these criteria then when you try to log in, the website simply tells you incorrect username/password. Nothing to the effect that you need to choose another one. Or the reason.
So, because you know that the username and password worked perfectly well the last time you accessed the site and that you haven't changed it, you waste time trying to work out what else might have gone wrong.
So simple to anticipate and yet this is seemingly beyond the f****its at Marble.
Grrrrrr.......rant over.
