• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Just wondering and if so which ones do you do?

I'm a Telegraph man..the cryptic and on a (very) good day the Toughie. And once in a blue moon, manage to do the Times. The Telegraph cryptic is my early morning ritual. Strong cafetiere of expresso and usually all done in 30-40 minutes.

And the FT Weekend.

This clue in yesterdays' made me chuckle.

I enjoy a good crossword but as I don't buy a newspaper these days I wait until I'm working for my old physics teacher he insists we finish the crossword & sudoku before I start work in a morning :shock: some days are very steady :D
 
Do you go for the cryptic types or general knowledge ones, Doug ?
 
General knowledge Roger, Steve M had said you like doing the crosswords & I figured it would be the Telegraph
 
I didn't know what one was until I read the opening thread, but, Mrs P was a grammar school girl and she's very good with crosswords and she plays Scrabble everyday with her dad online. We don't buy newspapers in this household but, Mrs P's family are all academics and whenever they come and see us (or visa-versa), Sunday morning coffee is like a gentleman's club - there's The Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Independent etc in full flow... and then I get out the Sunday Sport :lol:
 
I'll always have a go at the GK if there is a paper handy. My french is not good enough for the cryptics here but I can do sudoko in French. :D
