Blackswanwood
Old Oak
I'm currently working on a Backgammon Board which I'm treating as a prototype as it needs a couple of tweaks.
Here's where I am up to ...

That's (obviously the outside) which was prior to final flattening after doing the inlay.
This is the inside once I'd cut through the sides ...

Before I fit the storage tray I need to make the stones and am unsure as to whether to:
1. Turn a single length and slice them off (salami style)
or
2. Use the router and a round hole template to cut them individually in a flat piece of timber.
Any views or thoughts on a better way will be appreciated.
Cheers
Robert
