• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I have been so busy with the garden getting it ready for the summer, now that most of the seedlings are taking hold ready for planting out next month as the weather is getting quite warm.

I managed to find the lathe which was hiding in plain sight and get some little ornamental bird houses made ready for the up coming season of shows they are very popular especially with the kids. They are made from offcuts of wood which would otherwise be thrown out.

These are a mix of Oak, Walnut and some unknown woods. The tops are lime wood and then ebonised finally some of Jo Sonjas paints to add some colour. Still need to add the hanging cords. They are about 4" tall

They are cute but I was also wondering if they were decorative more than practical. Poor chicks in there when the wind blows would get seasick.:)

I like those, nice work.

It is for miniature birds

Thank you guys and yes the hole is 1/4" and they are purely for decoration. But they do normally sell very well the kids love them as do many adults
