Make sure that you keep the receipt.
I understand that they have an excellent reputation for returns if anything goes wrong. Not that I have ever needed to return anything.
I bought a drill and small battery circular saw both using the same system, about eight years ago and they are still working fine.
Never had anything poor (given the price) from their park side range.

Yep! As I've mentioned in my previous posts about Lidl middle isle bits and pieces, whether Parkside tools, or other stuff like electric kettles and such, there's always a 3 year warranty. Keep the till receipt, write the date on it, put it in the box to keep it safe... just in case. With Arnie helping to promote...

The tap and die set is unfortunately a pile of pants on anything other than soft aluminium

Agreed Martin. Although the one I got - somewhere around the late 1990's - did reasonably well putting threads on some ⅛" stainless steel used for swivels for Falconry purposes. Maybe mine from back then was a tad better than the one you got?

However, when I recently last year (with the bandsaw tensioning bolt sleeve) tried to recut the thread I thought it had worked but found out later it hasn't. I was dubious about it when first bought... didn't really look capable. Some you win,some you loose.

I'd ditch those Pozidriv bits though. I threw out all my Pozidriv and Phillips screws etc some years ago and never looked back.

I found the same one in the shed of my late father inlaws a year after he went, still had loads of chooch left in the battery

I keep well away from any cutting tools, drill bits plug cutters tap and die sets from aldi/lidl as they are not very good, the power tools don’t seem bad my shop vac has lasted years and is still going strong.

Well... my Makita drill/driver makes some funny noises sometimes with the chuck but otherwise still works. Do I really need another ... probably not... but... I do have one of the small green brand of the Parkside drill/driver 12V. Lasting well, used more as a driver than drill... I'm going to go have a look and then decide - so an early trip in the morning just in case the stock goes quickly.
