• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Dry January

Jigsaw puzzles begin to get easier after the second bottle
Absolutely. I find that second bottle gives me the extra strength to force those awkward pieces that nearly go in but not quite. You know, the pieces with an extra bit on that the manufacturer left there by mistake. Trouble is I then find that the finished puzzle doesn’t quite match the picture and there are lots of little empty holes. I blame the Chinese manufacturer :ROFLMAO:

Since January is in five days and you have five bottles, the solution is obvious... 😁
I like a challenge but that’s a step too far  😂 😂

I stuck to the red wine this afternoon so the pieces went together without force ;)

That didn't take long, I would prefer to play chess with the family on xmas day but no one plays chess anymore.
There’s only me at home Boxing Day so an ideal time to break out the jigsaws, I like 500 piece puzzles as I can do them in 3 to 3 & a 1/2 hours so they aren’t hanging around for days & I'm not getting it in the neck for clogging up the dining table.

That’s quick, never timed ourselves (yes 2 of us) but much slower! Particularly on one like that where it’s quite monochrome.
Booze, not much nowadays. Yes, boring sorry.
