• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Now and again I stumble across an interesting video that others here might like as well and I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds things.

Here is a guitar making one I watched the first half of last night and i'll finish watching later today - it's an hour long. It is also in HD so don't watch it in the small window here on the forum :)

Feel free to add more videos if you think the thread is worth keeping going...

I watched this one recently as I have a vested interest - I have already made two guitars and intend to do another when my shop is built, and I've already been asked to do a WIP on it.

But I could never ever achieve the accuracy that is demonstrated here.

It's brilliant viewing.

Watched the first few mins Robert, the rest I will save and watch on the TV on Sat night. Looks effortless which is surely a true sign of craftsmen at work.

Watched 40 mins of it yesterday and will watch the rest tonight. Absolutely glued to it, a mesmerisingly enjoyable watch.

Cheers
Mark

And one that has a new episode about once a week. Building a wooden boat. I've been watching since # 1 and he's up to 15 now.

Slow paced but very watchable.

I like these two ;)

They drag on a bit, but the end results are pretty cool. 8-)

shows a bit of their factory in Poland too.

I've watched everyone of the hand build of the skiff. It's been a brilliant series, informative and educational.

You wanna see how the boat goes!!
