• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Morning all

Someone recently posted a picture of a gizmo to hold the pages of a paperback book open whilst reading.

I can't find it using the search facilities.

Does anyone know where it is ?

Cheers

Dave

The trick with all search engines is to find the right the word to search for. After a bit of trial and error I ended up searching for “reading” in the Projects and WIPs board.

Morning Andy

I did try using 'paperback' as a search string but it showed no matches.

This was due to searching the wrong forum

As they say, every day's a school day.

My partner is a book reader so I will have a go at making one of these, had a bit of time in doors today so drew out a version I think will work:

Couldn't think of a name for it though and acknowledge the copyright to Pete Maddex

Morning Paul

Thanks for posting that. I no longer need a round tuit.

Cheers

When I was doing craft fairs, I made them with a flat edge, when asked about them I demonstrated how they worked and said the flat side was for when reading a kindle.
