• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Good to see the Haven back up again. Looking forward to meeting new and old friends and having a chat about wood. :D

:)

made any giant cabinets while we've been away?

Good to see you here. I missed having you put us all to shame with the speed of your productions :)

Hello all.

Thank you to Roger for letting me know this place has been resurrected and inviting me to rejoin.

Hi Mark,

Thank you.

What will be the correct place for that sort of stuff?

Hi Mark,

Thank you.

What will be the correct place for that sort of stuff?

Good question! I would suggest probably the Tips & Tutorials, or maybe we should even have a dedicated Design/Sketchup forum...?

I am open to suggestions on that one. Personally I think that would be a pretty good idea, and you could even make it your own...! ;)

What does the forum populace think to those as options?

Cheers
Mark

Good to see you here Dave R.

I feel pretty confident in sketchup now largely thanks to your guidance over the years. I can get done most of what I want to but I know there is still a lot I don't understand and things I could probably do a much easier way.

Good to know advice is not far away next time I hit a problem.

Thanks for the help you give so freely.

Hi Dave,

Good to see you again. :D

I must admit to not using sketchup much since you gave me you time in a tutorial, must try harder.

Thanks gentlemen.

As for a new forum, I don't know. I'll leave that up to "The Powers That Be" or whatever committee has those privileges. I'll play along.:D

It's nice to know I've been helpful for some of you already. Hopefully I still can be.

I think a sketch up section would be great as I still can't get me head around it....would be nice to use...better than my drawings :) hehhehehe
