• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I've just joined the forum and only posted a couple of replies so far, but enjoy reading all about the various projects that you all get up to.

I'm a bit long in the tooth at 74 and since retiring 5 years ago this month, I have had a few hobbies - photohraphy, Golf, Archery and started woodworking almost 2 years ago with a few tools picked up from friends of my son, who is also enjoying this hobby. We have upgraded th equipment with new bandsaw, dust extractors, P/T and sanders and put together a few bandsaw boxes for fun, but have no intention of getting into 'proper' woodworking - furniture etc, like so many of you.

Started selling a few boxes last October to replenish timber and for which we have a web site at http://www.badgerwoodcrafters.co.uk which I need to udate with more of our boxes.

Hi, Alex and welcome to the forum. I have used the location entered in your profile to add you to our members map. There is a link to in the top RH corner of the web page.

There are some really pretty boxes on your website. Maybe when you have image loading sorted you can let us know how you make them.
 
Now that (sorting images out) may take a bit of doing.

Making the boxes is something I picked up by looking at lots of videos and just having a go. Being able to use a 1/8" blade also helps. particularly with the smaller 'hidden' drawers like this one (I hope)

You have not quite got the hang of the image posting yet.

You need to copy the string of data that is in the IMG box alongside or below your photo on the Photobucket page and paste it directly into the post. The string of data looks like this:-

please persevere, once you have the hang of it, it is quite easy - honest.
