• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Helloooooo

Admin/mods, Please remove that if deemed a bit too close for comfort

Hello from me too Pete. I never saw all of your old projects at our former home, and would welcome them being posted up here.

Well Helloooooo back at you Pete. :eusa-dance:

Photos look good, it seems as if you have similar imagination to my son though he tends to concentrate mostly on landscape and he's Canon user. He has had a number of commissions and sales but it's definitely a hobby as he has a good day job so here's his website which you might find interesting. I hope it's ok but please remove it mods if it's against the rules.

Had a quick flick through, he’s very talented.

Love the one capturing the Aurora Borealis! I was lucky enough to catch a very small glimpse when we took the kids to Lapland a few years back, not as good as that though.

Very nice!

Pete

He managed to get that not too far from here on the North East coast. He regularly packs a hammock and his camera gear and hikes off into the hills and forests even in the depths of winter, I think he has a screw loose, must be from my wife's side of the family. :eusa-whistle:

My missus has been badgering me for years to go to fjords to see the lights but it's too flippin cold for me!

I'll pass your link on to him as well if you don't mind Pete as he will be very interested. I guess photographers are the same as woodworkers in wanting to see fellow enthusiast's work. He started off with a Canon 400d and got some amazing results while I had that same model camera but all I could ever accomplish were very ordinary snaps, :eusa-doh: He has much better equipment these days though.
