• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I'd like to print the Ipad Air user manual for my father. I know he can read it on the tablet but I know he would much rather have it printed out.

The original document, after I have edited out all the unnecessary stuff, is some 93 pages long and I won't have enough ink. I could send it to the missus for her to do at work though :D For this I would like to change the format of the PDF from portrait to landscape and then create a booklet which I can then save and email to her. This would reduce the total pages down to something more manageable. I have to do these changes and save the PDF before I email it as she does not have suitable software to do it.

Can this be done?

Nice try Roger but no joy. The skysoft app trial version won't save changes without a watermark - cunning. And Adobe Reader won't save changes at all.

Might have to think of an alternative or buy some ink.

Thanks Steve, have just tried and the conversion really screws up the graphics and formatting.

Problem solved though via this on line page http://www.rotatepdf.net Upload the document and the rotation is done on the website then download back again.
I would not do this for personal stuff for obvious reasons but a I saw no risk with a product user manual.

thanks
