• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I would like to thank Mike for all the advice he gives. My own shed gained a lot of ideas from his original post on UKW.

I wonder if you can be knighted for services to the advancement of UK sheds? :D
 
Thanks Mark. It's going to be really handy having all of these builds in easily referenced place. A boon for any workshop (or shed) builder.

Hi Andy

Did you uncheck the box to leave a shadow topic in place on the ones you moved?

I have just been through all the other pages and when I got up to about page 3 or 4 and tried to move one topic it said it was already in Workshop Builds. Either I overlapped with someone else doing some admin or some shadow topics have been left behind.

If so, do you know which ones as I think we should remove them to tidy things up?

Mark, it was certainly my intention NOT to leave a shadow topic in place ( I followed your lead on that ) . If i did miss unchecking any I am sorry. As to which ones, no. I just when through the Projects board and moved topic one by one.

Edit, what happens if you delete a shadow topic? Maybe best to leave alone?

No biggie mate, just threw me for a moment when I tried to move one but it was already there.

Not sure what happens when you delete a shadow topic, that's on my list to research after kids are settled.
