• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I need (want) a small bandsaw

Almost exactly the same as mine, albeit mine is badged differently. A very decent little machine, with spares readily available. It only suffers with large lumps of timber because the table is attached to to the pressed metal body, rather than to a frame. The one niggle is adjusting and keeping clean the lower blade guides, which are virtually inaccessible.

If you buy it, buy new bearings for just a few pennies, and of course buy some new blades.

Mike

So, I see there is a bid, is it yours Andy?

No not me, not yet. I knew there was a risk in going public. Maybe I should've kept it quite.

Can't get into ebay at all at the moment.

Can't believe anyone on here would bid against you Andy, very bad form if they have!

Terry.

I don't think that for a moment Terry. Probably just coincidence, but the WH2 is open to anyone to view not just the members.

And I was joking - I wouldn't bid against Andy or anyone on here who was looking to buy something on ebay. 8-)

I know Paul, don't worry. Frustrating that that I cannot get into ebay at all at the moment, tried .com, .co.uk and .fr just hangs there.

Mrs P is selling lots of stuff on ebay at the mo and since returning from walking the hounds just now, she can't get on to ebay either.

So I said (to my detriment)... "How about getting on with the Sunday roast instead." :o

I think I'm on washing up duties again tonight

By the time I got home last night bidding was over and finished at £200 which was above my limit. Other problems last night overtook events anyway.
