Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Be careful with the mower choice, we got stung and had an ongoing dispute with the mower supplier. Long and short of it is they didn't listen to our requirements and we ended up with a nice ride on mower that wasn't up to the job.
Told them it isn't up to the job, and they tried to sell us a remote one until I lost my temper and the owners son came out to look at our place and straight away said we have the wrong mower. That was taken back and a replaced with a 4WD affair which has been the bees knees.
If your garden is anything like ours - hilly, bumpy, more field than garden have a look at the 4WD machines.
All I need to do is put my hi vis on and pretend I work for the council. Only thing missing is a drink holder for a nice cold beer, though I have been promised one of those beer hats which has never materialised.

Wrong machine, Roger. You need a tractor. Every man secretly (or otherwise) wants to own a tractor. You know this is what you're really after. Buy yourself a good old fashioned tractor, and a whole heap of attachments for the PTO.

I use to drive a grey Massey Ferguson in the late 50’s before I was old enough to get a licence.
Before that the farmer used a Fordson Major which you started on petrol then switched to paraffin.

Fortunately I had a :idea: and revisited the Design Criteria. Originally BWKB (Before We Knew Better) LOML had some very good gardening plans for said area. Said plans would have meant that the local contractor who topped the paddock a few times for us last year at £60 a throw would not have been able to get in easily. But for pretty obvious reasons, said plans have been abandoned. Ergo the man and his topper can still get in.
So..no sit-upon.
