• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I tried to log in to Nectar this morning and got this error ...

403 ERROR

The request could not be satisfied.

Nectar say talk to my ISP, which is more easily said than done. When I get throgh to them, they may well blame Nectar.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Try a different browser ? I'm finding these days that some websites are so finicky that I need to have three browsers already open and cut and paste the link to the relevant webpage to each of them in turn until I find the right browser for that particular webpage (and I am convinced, on that particular day).

Morning Roger.

Thanks for the suggestions

I'd already tried Firefox, Chrome and access from my mobile, with no joy.

However, I still have SeaMonkey so I tried that, searching for 'Nectar' in DuckDuckGo, clicked on the 'sign in' option and got directed to https://account.sainsburys.co.uk/nectar/login?login_challenge=blah blah.

That asks for the email address and password, which works.

In Firefox, searching for Nectar in Google takes me to https://cdn.nectar.com/login which prompts for the card number (CDN?) This is the page that brings up the error.

If I enter 'https://nectar.com/login' in the search bar in Firefox, I get directed to the login page, https://account.sainsburys.co.uk/nectar/login?login_challenge=blah blah.which works. So, Google was directing me to an address which does'nt work on my machine.

I too have noticed recently that websites, particularly financial ones, are getting a bit fussier over access. It seems that Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome are their preferred browsers and their software is designed to be compatible with them.

Cheers

Dave
