My old Makita, to be fair has had a lot of use, I'm starting to notice a definate amount of play between the body and legs when plunging. Has anyone stripped one down and is there any adjustment. On the spares list the contact point for the legs seems to be the lower moter mount, but there are no replacement bushes listed.

Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! I have a 3612c no play in mine at the moment, it does look like its the motor bracket you need, but you could pick up a second hand one for that price.
