• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Nearly serious!

I was working in the study this morning waiting for the drizzle to go away. Heard a 'thump' noise from the lounge.
The wife had tripped and thumped the one window pane with her head. It was just glass everywhere!
Fortunately the curtains were still drawn, else it could have been quite a serious accident.
Looks like a bit of swelling and maybe a blue eye and a gash on the one leg from a table.

It's funny now and a joke, BUT ........................

Cheers

She seems fine, forehead a bit sore.

Had to get the window replaced pronto on Saturday as the house was on show yesterday.
(cost ZAR500.00 as its on a Saturday!)

We also got hit by lightning on Saturday, looks like the modem/ADSL line. Need to get that sorted out today.

Cheers
Phil

Hope she makes a speedy recovery
Many many yrs ago my then 3 yr old fell through our then non safety glass side door. Luckily not cut but all glass panels etc quickly replaced!
Still gives me the shivers when I think about it.

Daughter tripped over her feet at my Father's on Saturday. Hit the corner of a door frame with the side of her head. Much screaming and a large pool of blood on the carpet. Off to minor injuries clinic. Inch long gash super glued up and now as right as rain. My mother pleased as she thinks at long last the (pink) carpet can be replaced as even after two days of scrubbing can't remove the stain.

Houses can be dangerous.
