• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Howdy folks,

My name's Darren and I'm for London, been into all sorts of DIY since I was a kid up to and including fitting kitchens and bathrooms. Always had an interest in woodwork and would watch hours of Norm on the TV when I was younger.

In 5 weeks or I'll be moving to a nice house in Worcester and so will finally have enough room for some kind of workshop for all sorts of things. Found this place after reading about Mikes workshops from another forum.

I'm new to woodworking but hopefully with time I can learn like I do everything else!

We like builds here no matter how big or how small. And don't forget the photos as we like those too.:D

There are sure to be plenty of pictures. It's just in the sketchup/planning/"can I afford this" stage at the moment, but since the house is an old farm house there is plenty of room.

We'll be in Pinvin, Pershore.

The house has been undergoing lots of work in the last 12 months. I've got 90% of the kitchen done but desperately need to get the main bedroom finished before the end of January.

A bit of a pain living and working in London when I've a house that needs so much work done 120 miles away!

LOL....been there. Done that. If it's any consolation, we're still working on the house 20 years later on !!

I'm just West of the Malvern Hills and if you're ever passing this way you're very welcome to pop in.

Yeah my in laws have had people pull in and watch the display from their place when nobody could get in as it was so busy!

Huge fan of a good airshow so that's always good, and I think you can get on the flat expanse of road/tarmac/concrete there which could be fun in the car ;).

You better believe it! Last year, because of the 'Vulcan Effect' Pershore and all surrounding roads were gridlocked. As I used to live in The Lenches I knew a sneaky way in the back and so avoided the crush. :eusa-whistle:
