• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Just wondered if anyone was going to the Harrogate Show? I have my tickets for the Saturday (myself and a mate are going) nd am making the journey from North West of Aberdeen, home then onto Harrogate total journey of 405 miles each way.

I'm going Alasdair but on the Friday as usual and will have my brother and nephew for company. Cut to two days this year and no Axminster presence I think it will be a smaller show. The only one within reach but I don't envy you your trip. You won't be doing the return trip the same day will you? Or do you share the driving?

I'm going to split my journey, approx 200 miles from where I'm working to home (overnight there on Friday) pick up my mate on Saturday morning and head down. Travel probably an hour north after the event and overnight in a hotel (one with a bar and nice beer preferred) then home on Sunday and my usual 3.30am start on Monday morning back to Aberdeenshire.

I've not been at one of these shows in many years so wanted to come down and have a look at some of the exhibits. As Doug said it looks like a good line up.

Probably Friday for me - booked the day off work. Will be making the annual pilgrimage for a bacon sandwich from the airstream at Fodder. Not looking for much this year, but always enjoy the day out.
