I love the Jeep collection!

Boy, he really has got some nice kit. If those were their original locations, however, then he hasn't got room to use the tools. I'd have his planer (jointer) and bandsaw at the drop of a hat.

I don't know how much of that stuff is in the locations that he put them. He often said he had stuff in Rathole #1, Rathole #2, and Rathole #3. This looks like most of it is in the same room. However, in his last few years at least he was much more into machinist stuff and machinery repair than woodworking.

He did a lot of buying and selling. He probably just kept the best and sold the rest.

I've been in places with more stuff. But those had lots of duplication and were much more poorly organized.

There even appears to be a British red telephone box amongst to stuff outside.
There are some very useful bits of kit there, but how much space would you need to be able to put it all to use?

Amazing collection! I especially like the Jeep with the Browning M2 50 cal (replica, unfortunately ) mounted! Some fantastic machines though.

Even here, it's hard (not impossible) to own a machine gun. And you wouldn't leave it outside attached to a jeep. And, for that matter, it might very well cost more than the jeep.

The estate sale took a couple of days. Hundreds of people went through. The wait to pay was over an hour at some points. No "after" pictures available yet.

I've also learned that this was just the "home shop". There is a warehouse of stuff to be sold next month. Watch this space.
