Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Looking good. I did smile however at the 'waiting for some fine weather' - that will be June 2021 then based on where you are

I would also like to take this opportunity of thanking Droogs. He kindly offered to take a look at some of those ovals that had been badly painted by a two-year old and see what he could do. The end result was nothing short of amazing. Far better than what I could have done. Delighted to say that we've reached a mutually beneficial arrangement for him to do the rest for me.

. Like you I am just waiting for a break in the weather to get cracking on the remainder. Still can't get down to the wksp to do these so need to do them under the gazeebo and its a bit too wild at the moment

Slight oversight.
What with all the rain we've been having, I'd not been in there for some time. Found that there were a few damp patches on the floor by the walls etc. On closer inspection, I now know the problem.
Remember how I was waxing lyrical about linseed oil paint ? (Yeah, I know....eejit!). Well one characteristic is that stuff doesn't really stick to it. Glass fibre resin will just flake off. And glazing silicone ?
Basically comes away from the linseed oil painted surrounds. ...job for the spring, methinks.

Surely you can’t blame the linseed oil paint for not adhering to a non porous material ?
