• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Passport at the ready - UPDATED

Trip to Liverpool done. Cars exchanged and back in Devon with the new one. (They'd don't 'alf speak funny up there.)

From 21 Sept
Well, now there's a thing. If my negotiations work, I'll be getting my passport out and driving up to Liverpool on Friday because I'm changing my car, too.

Perhaps we can wave at eachother as we pass on the M5. :)
Wow, were you kidnapped and held against you will up there for a whole month :)

'Fraid not. The hospital want my missus in for a CT scan on the programmed day to drive north for her knee replacement the following week, so I had to cancel and reprogram.

Here's a gag right up your street @Malc2098 :ROFLMAO: - Rob

A piece of string walks into a bar and walks up to the counter.
The bartender says, "Sorry mate, we don't serve pieces of string in here, get lost."
Upset, the piece of string walks out the door. A sudden thought strikes him. He ties himself in a knot and messes his hair up.
He walks back into the bar and approaches the counter. The bartender says, "Oi, aren't you that piece of string from before...?"
"No," says the piece of string, "I'm a frayed knot."

Thanks for the invite, you never know, I have a relative in Oakhampton. Likewise if you get up to Northumberland though my coffee is crap.
