• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I still do some plumbing on the side, not much nowadays though, anyway call comes in, "Plumber" has let me down, need to fit shower valve, OK, i'll come and have a look, (generally 2 pipes on to a backplate job done) nope, look at this little lot:

Multi function nighmare..I really need to learn to say NO.
 
Nice neat job there, I had to remove a heap of plasterboard to find a leak on a similar job once, no fun at all!
I’m sure that won’t be the case with yours, mine was a real cowboy job.

pipe on the right looks like it goes behind the wooden panel and is one of the two to the left of that panel so is actually a hot or cold feed in. any idea what make the mixer is?
 
Pipe does as Flying Haggis outlined, had to send it back behind to pick up the cold feed, that loose end pipe is destined for a handset connection, but that's another problem to yet to be resolved, there is another of these to do as yet, on a masonry wall!!.

The shower head is a big lump sticks out 500mm, with rainfall/waterfall option all came from Porcelonsa:

Well, look on the bright side - you get a free tape measure! :)
 
Got to admit those rainfall/waterfall heads can be a bit of a pain you’ve certainly got to get your pipework spot on if the head is gonna fit when it’s all tiled, did this one a while back.

Unbelievably I had to re-engineer the base fixing plate to get everything to fit :?

there is a bath tap to do on this one as yet, with some strange floor base unit, looks similar to yours, what did you have to modify?
 
The bolts that held the tap upstand to the base were misaligned Paul, I ended up altering the bolt holes & also turning down the heads on the cap nuts slightly, not what you expect on an expensive tap.
