Replacement keyless chuck

Does anyone have a recommendation? I have one on a 240V electric drill which is failing, and I have had a number fail on me previously over the years. I therefore surmise that the quality varies, so suggestions for one which doesn't have its internals made of chocolate would be most welcome.

Rohm are the best chucks I have personally Albrecht chucks are more highly thought of but come with a hefty price tag, both brands are made in Germany but are available over here, as with most things quality costs but I’ve not been disappointed with Rohm.

Check that the current chuck is removable first!
I had a green Bosch that the chuck was supposedly removable but I couldn’t shift it.

As a matter of interest, what is wrong with your current chuck? On mine one of the three grippers pins*had a mind of its own.
*what are they actually called?

The major problem is that bits regularly get stuck. I put them into the chuck and tighten normally, but the jaws tighten on them in use and they're impossible to get out by hand. I have to fetch swan-neck pliers and moll-grips to get them out. Occasionally, though, the opposite happens and bits come loose.

And which is why a lot of manufacturers exclude chucks from their warranty. Makita and Festool to name but two.
