We are producing large volumes of stocks and preserves which we freeze (along with bulk supplies of butter). So we decided to buy a chest freezer to supplement our existing units (uprights with trays). We have a super abundance of fruit and veg etc that will take us and our restaurant through the winter for sauces, juices, nage, etc.
Ordered a 500 litre one yesterday from Marks Electrical (ME) online. Almost everywhere you look online takes a week or so to deliver and the likes of Currys charge £45.
ME do it free in 3 days or £20 next day. They came from Peterborough - two really nice Bulgarian guys. Left at 5.30am. They use their own vans, the delivery app tells you exactly where their van is. They apologised for being late. By 8 minutes! They arrived at 8.38 am and could not have been nicer.
The freezer was perfectly packaged, equalled the best price on the internet, was in immaculate condition (no damage whatsoever). Superb communications throughout. I could not recommend an electrical kit supplier more highly. Superb service.
