• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

And off to pastures new
I’m meeting the guy who bought my Hammer C3-31 today to sell him the job lot of spindle cutters and blocks. I will come away with a fistful of dosh. We’re meeting at Limebase and while using Google Maps saw that this place is on the same site.

Never heard of them before and looked at their website. My dilemma is ….do I dare go in.

How strong is your will Roger? You might find some interesting solutions to your new limited workshop space. Suggest you visit before you meet your buyer though.

Do they actually have a shop? Looking at the website it looks like it's a manufacturer and online sales outfit. They do say that you can collect a pre-order from them but nothing obvious to say that they have a store you can go into and browse.

Ah…..missed that. Good news really as I can Impulse Buy for England

Have a look at Peter Millard's YouTube videos. He's a big fan of their products and has done several videos about how he uses them. He did one where he visited them, by arrangement.

Does your new workbench have a wholly holy holey top yet Roger? If so, they’ve got something to shove in the ‘oles.

I have their rail for use with my track saw - they've added so much more since I bought it. Good British manufacturing with great customer service. I cut the end off the piece of ally which supports the rail (user error) and they sent a new piece out free of charge.

Where have you been hiding !

Look at their website and what you might find useful if you have a tracksaw is there MFT tops, fence and hinge dogs which makes cutting sheet goods really easy and good for repetitive cuts. If you have space then maybe there track hinge which is really well engineered.

Also decent squares and rulers, you will find it very easy to spend !
