• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

too cold

You're a wimp Bob, exile in the sunshine has softened you up, here in the frozen North East the hard core Newcastle United supporters would still be at the footie with their shirts off, if they were allowed to attend.

When I let the dog out at 12.30 this morning it was minus 3 and snowing like billio, she looked at me as if to say " you must be fff..lippin joking", tiptoed across the grass, pretended to have a pee and shot back in the house, she was curled up in her bed before I had time to shut the door.

On the other hand we were in the centre of Sydney a few years ago when the temperature was 42 deg which my wife especially found very difficult while some of the Ozzies were wearing sweaters and jackets.

I have seen some of the bare chested toon army. Shall we just say they carry their own insulation :)

That's a fair point Andy they do tend to carry rather a lot of blubber.
They also are afflicted by the the other definition, the act of blubbering which is very common among most of us long suffering supporters.

Whooo Hooo!
Spring is sprung! :eusa-clap: :eusa-clap: :eusa-clap:

6degC here in Warrington. I’m just making some brekkie (two poached eggs on crumpets) then I’ll be back out to do my shed, wearing t shirt, light fleece and woolly hat. Hat will come off after about 30 mins as I’ll be too hot.

My son is an onsite carpenter in England. He finds it too hot here in spring, summer and autumn  8-)

Most years I can get out my beach shorts and put my jeans back in the drawer in march and leave them there till november, Those are good years 8-)
