Lurker
Old Oak
My cross cut sled (or is it sledge?) reached the end of its life. Because of the design they only last a few years, but the pros outweigh the cons. I have used the same design for my past two TS over a good ten years.
Not sure where I found the design, but it eliminates all the flaff of removing the riving knife etc.
The base is just part of an old MDF kitchen cupboard door.
The tall bit at the front ensures that my hands are well clear of the blade, the small bit is just belt and braces incase I break though, not that I have ever done so.
