• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Question - how do I link a Flickr image to a post here?

I want to host some pictures there for a WIP

Imgur is out - will not let me create an account because of being in Africa.

FLICKR should provide image tags for this purpose.
the format is similar to
url=https://flic.kr/p/2irBzDv]
49516612107_c2670ad6fc_k.jpg
[/url

but enclosed in square brackets. You don't up load the photo but instead the forum software goes and fetches from the above instruction

I don't have a flickr account to see the exact method.

HMM! that did not work out as I planned. Follow Andy's link instead!

We aim to please.
Which I can’t say without thinking of the sign in a gents loo of a pub I used to frequent…..
We aim to please, now will you aim too, please

:lol: :lol:

Posting pics like this will make writing WIPS so much easier.

I write the WIP in MS Word, then give the pic name in {picture name} in the text.
Then when loading to the forum I have to attach the pic and place inline and delete the {picture name}
Time consuming for a long post.

Now I can write the whole WIP with all the pic coding already in place.
No limitation on the number of pics either.
