• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

It's snowing again in West Yorkshire!

Wet 'Orrible stuff that even with 4wd I do not want to go out in at all, roll on gluing weather again.

Been watching my wife for a good while now, she has been standing by the patio doors looking really upset at all the cold wet stuff - I really must let her back in soon!

We’ve just got the melted variety here - “rain, rain go away”.

I remember those nights, just, but thankfully they don’t last for ever time marches on.
Our youngest Granddaughter is 3 and wife reminded me that we no longer need the child gates on the stairs so they can be put away. We’ve changed the car seat for her to face forwards as she was too tall for her legs to fit facing backwards - “I’m a big girl now” is her favourite sentence. Her elder sister, aged 10 is over the legal height for child booster seats so can sit with normal seat belts. And their big sister aged 13 is going on 20! :)

Yes it was, we can see Dick Hudsons pub from our house.

It turned out to be mostly puddles on the moor road.

Interestingly, the Wharfe valley was 2 degrees colder than the Aire valley!
