I needed a bit of 12mm ply for the next upcoming major project in the 'shop and decided to head off to my local Wickes shed to see what their stuff was like. Retrieving a slab from the middle of the stack, I was pleasantly surprised; no voids, knots or otherwise nasties to be seen. As I will be using the ply for veneering, I was also after some Everbuild 502 as my usual TB3 is way to spendy to use vast amounts for that sort of malarky. Again I was pleasantly surprised to find that Wickes do their 'own' D3 weatherproof glue for the very reasonable sum of £9; my guess is that it's made by Everbuild as it has exactly the same bottle and nozzle arrangement. It also has a 'best before date' the same as the proper Everbuild stuff; it's now stored at 2decC in the fridge along with my bottle of TB3. Storing glue in the fridge apparently prolongs the effective 'use by' date so I shall see in due course what it's like - Rob
