On two recent occasions, I have won two auctions from the same seller and when I've come to pay, I've naturally requested that they combine postage as that has always been the custom.
However, it now appears that the seller can set up, in advance, a refusal of postage combination price reduction and you only find out about this when the auction is over. I've scoured the original listings and found no advance warning of this.
Last nights winnings were two small items, asking £4 postage each and I had factored in when bidding an assumption that postage would be reduced to £4-5 for the two.
Once again Evil Bay are being a bit naughty. Problem is it is still one of the best marketplaces and the b'stards know it!
Grrr!
